Folder Structer

To install our theme you should have a working version of WordPress previously installed.
If you need help installing WordPress, follow the instructions in WordPress Codex.

Let's talk about what's inside the downloaded package.
Once you purchased our theme you need to download All Files & Documentation zip file. Following folder structure is based on that zip file, in that zip file only you'll get all of our theme files including demo content & offline documentation folder. Instructions

represent-theme.zip
  • Demo Data - this folder contains, demo data files.
    • represent.xml - it contains all of our live site contents
    • represent-options.txt - it contains theme options settings
  • Documentation - it contains link to this documentation, just simply what you're seeing now.
  • Licensing - it contains envato and WordPress standard licensing information files
  • represent.zip - this is the right file to install in your WordPress admin.

Install Theme

Upload the represent.zip file.

The effective way to install our theme is just follow our video guide. Everything is strait forward to install our theme like a live demo experience within a few minutes.

Follow The Simple Image Steps

  • Navigate to Appearance > Themes.
  • Click Install Themes and click the Upload button.
  • Navigate theme zip file on your computer and click Install Now.
  • Activate the newly installed theme by clicking the Activate button.
Note: Some servers have limited folder access settings applied and wouldn’t allow uploading the theme trough the admin – in these case you have to upload the theme via FTP.

Install Plugins

Please select your needed plugins to Install and Activate.

Our live site demo content xml's have required plugins contents too. If you (miss or skip) this step and move on next step of One Click Installer then, you'll not get any plugin related contents and settings in your site. So, please (Install & Activate) your needed plugins first.

Import Demo

After installing the theme and plugins successfully you are ready now to import Represent demo by just following this instructions

Import content demon

  • Navigate to Tools > import
  • Instal & Run Importer wordpress
  • Select & import represent.xml

  • Navigate to Represent setting > Import/Export
  • select Import from Url button
  • Copie and paste link from represent-option.xml
  • Import

Specify home & blog page

  • Navigate to settings > Reading
  • select A static page (select below)
  • Specify Home page (home) & Specify Blog page (blog)
  • Save
